Hi ! I am Ula, a freelance illustrator and comic author from Kaunas, based in Strasbourg. I explore visual storytelling in various forms ranging from comics and cinema to art installation and dance, merging the intimate, the dream-like and the political in my work.

Graduated from the Haute école des arts du Rhin in 2024. I have been creating editorial illustrations since 2017 and illustrated several books for adult and young audiences. In 2023 I was awarded “Illustration of the year” in the Lithuanian Publishers’ Association awards K.A.2023 for my illustrations in Jurga Vile’s book “Nukritę iš mėnulio. Sapnas apie Oskarą Milašių ir kitus paukščius”.
