Deportation of Children During Armed Conflicts
Illustrations for a training course on the deportation of children during armed conflicts, developed as part of the Council of Europe HELP (Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals) programme. The course provides lawyers with the necessary skills to address the complex issues of child deportation in conflict zones and to ensure compliance with international legal standards. The course consists of 5 modules: 1. Setting the scene, 2. Illegality of deportation of children during armed conflicts, 3. Treatment of children during deportation/transfer, 4. Obligation to facilitate return of children and 5. Accountability for deportations and transfers of children in armed conflicts.
