EU-CONEXUS Comic Strip in Science

The project promotes nine research projects - one at each partner university - addressing coastal sustainability through a wide range of scientific disciplines, from social sciences to fundamental research. Each PhD student and researcher have been paired up with an artist from their country and their research project transposed into a 3 pages comic with a cover illustration.

The main objective of the project is to inform a non-expert audience on how EU-CONEXUS addresses coastal sustainability, raise the awareness of the general public (mainly young people and adults) on scientific research and increase their interest in science. The project also encourages dialogue and collaboration between scientists and artists.
